Professional Fellow
$195.00 Full Dues
Management-level employees at AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums, Certified Related Facilities, or Conservation Partners (supporting zoo/aquarium society organization) are eligible. Professional Fellow members help shape association policy by voting in AZA elections and are eligible to chair AZA committees and be considered to serve on the Ethics Board or Board of Directors.
Eligibility requirements - Individuals working at an AZA member organization, either part- or full-time, as defined in the AZA Bylaws. Management positions are those that participate in the decision-making processes that influence and direct the operations, planning, purposes and goals of the organization. Employees of companies or self-employed consultants that provide products or services to the industry ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for individual membership unless employed by a Commercial member. Employees of Commercial members may not hold Professional Fellow membership.
All memberships are based on a calendar year, expiring December 31, 2025. Current AZA members seeking to reinstate or upgrade should do so by contacting AZA instead of using this form.
Annual Conference attendees must join at the full dues rate.
Employment and management capacity must be verified by Director/CEO for membership approval.

Professional Affiliate

Employees at AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums, Certified Related Facilities, Conservation Partners, Society Partners, or Commercial Members are eligible to apply for the Professional Affiliate category.

Designed for individuals employed by a non-AZA member zoo or aquarium or actively seeking employment in the zoo/aquarium community. This category is also available to those who share a non-commercial professional interest, such as volunteers and docents, and those in related fields like conservation, academia, and government.
Employees of companies or self-employed consultants that provide products or services to the zoological community ARE NOT ELIGIBLE and may not hold individual membership unless employed by a Commercial Member.
